David Wallen joins Hydroware GmbH as Managing Director
David Wallen has been appointed as Managing Director of Hydroware GmbH and will officially assume the position in March 2025. David Wallen brings great experience from his extensive career in the lift industry. With an academic background in mechatronics, he entered the sector in the early 2000s. Over the past 20+ years, David has built an impressive track record in the German lift market, advancing through various key roles.
David Wallen began his career as an on-site installer for new lifts before progressing to Assembly Foreman and later, Sales Engineer. In the later half of the 2010s, David transitioned to leadership roles, serving as Sales Director, Regional Manager, and most recently, International Key Account Manager. Throughout his professional career, David Wallen has remained deeply committed to the lift industry, a field he holds in high regard.
I have spent my entire professional life in the German lift industry and have closely followed Hydroware’s journey. Joining Hydroware at this particular moment feels incredibly exciting and inspiring – not only to be part of the expansion into the traction lift market but also to contribute to the company’s continued focus on the German market.
